I stayed here during one of the busiest weeks/weekends during the year, Chinese New Year. The hotel was sold out, which makes it hard to receive an upgrade.
I arrived at the hotel around 1pm and proceeded to the check-in counter for SPG Gold and Platinum members. Greeted, and welcomed and they acknowledged my status. Channina appeared, and explained about the busy season and that they normally wish to offer suite upgrades to Platinum members. She offered either the room with a circular bed or executive room. Since I was traveling with a friend, I went for the executive room with a king size. If we wanted two beds, we would have to settle for a basic room. The room we requested was not ready yet, so we went out for some lunch.
When I came back to the hotel, the receptionist ran over to me with two keycards and a sheet explaining my benefits, including 2 hour free happy hour for Platinum guests.
I received a high floor executive room. (With a Japanese toilet)

Went to the well equipped gym for an hour, and relaxed/worked a bit before the Happy Hour offering.
The Happy Hour was running from 17:30 – 19:30 in Bamboo Chic bar. Not a lot of seating, and a bit dark. But chic and comfortable seats. Offered some snacks as well.
Did not appear to be any limitation on what you could order from the drink menu. Danny and I enjoyed a few cocktails and some Japanese Whisky while tapping away on our computers.
Breakfast next morning did not disappoint:
